OUR CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING EVENTS

Let us bring a deliciously fun corporate team building event to your city!

At Executive Chef Events, we have three primary ways for you to experience team-building events with your team. Let us guide your group on a unique culinary adventure in person, or in a virtual environment. You can choose from the Iron Chef - Style Competition, Culinary Challenges, or Cooking Classes. 

IRON CHEF-STYLE COMPETITIONS

In this friendly culinary competition guests are typically welcomed by an executive reception with hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Guests then slip on chef hats and aprons and are divided into teams each of which will whip up (with the guidance of our fun and talented chefs) a three course meal in a fun head-to-head competition. to be crowned the evening’s cook-off champion. Teams have access to an extensive pantry and large table of fresh produce and ingredients, giving everyone an empty canvas to be creative and try exciting new ideas.

Once the cooking is finished everyone is invited to sit down, relax, and enjoy their culinary creations as the Emcee reveals the winning team and guests are awarded prizes. When the evening is over, each guest leaves with new cooking skills, a full belly, and memories of a great time in the company of new friends.

LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE 

60 minute timed cooking challenge

PRICING 

$115 per guest

Includes hor d'oeuvres, non-alcoholic beverages, 3-course sit-down banquet meal, and prizes for each member of the winning team.​

Additional charges include a 20% production fee, COVID Compliance, venue, alcoholic beverages, and party rentals.

  • SF Bay Area and Dallas Area: 15 guests minimum

  • Southern California: 30 guests minimum

  • Other US Locations: 50 guests minimum

Let us know in advance of any dietary restrictions and food allergies your guests may have and we'll make special arrangements to ensure that these folks are well taken care of and, of course, well-fed.

MENU

Each team works with n Executive Chef to design and cool a multi-course menu from scratch at our cooking competition events, so the final dishes that will be served will vary, but will always consist of the following courses:

  • Seasonal Salad Course

  • Entree Course: Protein* plus two side dishes, prepared by guests during the competition.

  • Tasty Decadent Dessert Course

*Protein Options:​

Basic competition protein is boneless skinless chicken breast. Custom and additional options and their estimated costs are listed below:

  • Beef: Strip, Flank or Skirt Steak (+$)

  • Combination: Both Beef and Chicken Options (+$)

  • Specialty: Seafood, Filet of Beef (+$)

  • Specialty Combination: Combination of Specialty Proteins (+$)

  • Vegetarian: All menus include vegetarian and special dietary options (no charge)

  • Halal: Halah protein can be provided upon request (additional cost TBD)​

COOKING CHALLENGES

Culinary Challenges are cocktail style events with a casual and lighter program, but packed with all the fun, excitement and of course great food. Upon arrival your group will slip on chef hats and aprons and be divided into teams that will compete in a fun culinary-themed challenge against the clock and each other to be crowned the grand challenge champion.

Executive Chef's corporate team building activities begin with a demonstration by our professional chefs of the culinary skills necessary to tackle the challenge and then the challenge begins! And of course, when the challenge is over everyone is invited to taste each other's creations.

Begins at $85 per guest 

Includes non-alcoholic beverages, tasting buffet, and prizes for each member of the winning team.

Additional charges typically include a 20% production fee, COVID Compliance, venue, alcoholic beverages, and party rentals. Pricing does not include a sit-down meal. Thematic meal can be added at an additional cost.

COOKING CLASSES

Our cooking classes are a fantastic way to bring your team closer together, celebrate achievements, or just let off some steam.

In this casual and fun event guests will work together to create a delicious multi course meal from recipes while learning the secrets to a new cuisine, all with the guidance of our fun(ny!) and talented chefs. 

 

Once the cooking is finished everyone is invited to sit down, relax, and enjoy their culinary creations. Each guest will leave with newfound culinary abilities, a full belly, and memories of a great time in the company of new and old friends...the rest is culinary history.

90 minutes of active cooking

Includes hors d'oeuvres, non-alcoholic beverages, instruction from our team of professional chefs, chef hats, and a multi-course buffet meal.
